Description

Medieval women’s hooded waistcoat ‘Nalen’ – olive green

The Nalen waistcoat is part of the “Drunter und Drüber” collection – a line designed for characters operating in secret: forest rangers, archers, rangers and adventurers. The dark olive green blends discreetly into natural surroundings whilst giving the waistcoat an authentic, earthy character.

Made from lightweight cotton twill, Nalen feels comfortable against the skin and can be worn with ease, even for extended periods at the market or at an event. The piece-dyed finish gives the fabric a subtle worn look – as if the garment has already weathered many a forest and mist. Subtle darts at the chest ensure a flattering fit that accentuates the silhouette without restricting freedom of movement.

The wrap fastening at the front, made from a fabric tie, allows for flexible adjustment of the width – practical for layered looks over a tunic, blouse or dress. If you prefer a slightly looser fit, it’s best to choose a size larger. The integrated hood completes the overall look and is suitable for both dramatic battlefield scenes and atmospheric camp evenings.
