ANNO 1225 – Medieval Spectacle at Eckerde Manor – An Immersive Medieval Adventure
Over the weekend of 11–13 September, Barsinghausen invites you to a grand medieval spectacle: ANNO 1225, named after a year in the High Middle Ages. The Eckerde Manor provides the setting – a historic manor house with grounds, ideal for an immersive spectacle.
Barsinghausen is situated south of Hanover in Lower Saxony, in a gently rolling landscape. Eckerde Manor is an authentic site – ancient, with genuine buildings, pastures and woodland. This is not a man-made set, but a real historical estate, which greatly enhances the atmosphere.
ANNO 1225 is organised by anno-events.de, a network that creates high-quality medieval events. The name ANNO 1225 refers to a specific year – this is not arbitrary, but thematically well thought out. The event has a concept, not just a budget.
Opening hours are visitor-friendly: Friday 4 pm–10 pm, Saturday 1 pm–10 pm, Sunday 11 am–7 pm. This is flexible and allows for various visiting scenarios.
