Brown and black gambeson

Enter the world of the Middle Ages with this rock-solid gambeson, which wonderfully combines tradition and modern comfort. Also known as an armor jerkin or aketon, this padded jacket was an indispensable part of armor in medieval warfare. Worn under chain or plate armor, it not only offered protection but also absorbed the force of enemy blows.
This gambeson is made from three carefully coordinated layers. The outer layer is made of robust, 330gsm canvas made of 100% cotton, the middle padding is made of 100% polyester and the inner lining is made of 100% cotton.
The vertical quilting seams increase stability and give the jacket its characteristic medieval look. A discreet ribbon fastener on the inside ensures a secure fit, while side slits and wide sleeve openings provide maximum freedom of movement - ideal for show combat, historical fencing or everyday use.
