Description
The Dordrecht Medieval Belt Bag is a faithful reproduction of a historical leather artefact found in the Dutch city of Dordrecht. The original dates from the late 14th to 15th century and served as the direct model for the shape and construction of this bag. It is therefore the ideal choice for late medieval re-enactments – whether for LARP, re-enactment, cosplay or as a stylish addition to medieval attire.
The belt bag impresses with its well-thought-out layout featuring three separate compartments: two side pouches, which are fastened with leather cords and decorative wooden beads, provide space for small items. The spacious main compartment easily accommodates modern everyday items such as a mobile phone, keys or a wallet. Sturdy, generous belt loops ensure a secure and comfortable fit on belts up to approx. 3.5 cm wide.
A particular eye-catcher is the large front flap with an embossed diamond pattern, reminiscent of classic quilting. Circular ornaments and two fleur-de-lis motifs round off the historically inspired design. The bag fastens with a leather loop and a high-quality brass buckle. Crafted from vegetable-tanned leather, this belt bag combines quality craftsmanship with an authentic look.
