MPS Bückeburg (Part 2)
The Medieval Spectacle is a travelling series of events that stops at various locations across Germany. Bückeburg in southern Lower Saxony is one of these locations – and the second edition of MPS Bückeburg will take place on 1 and 2 August 2026. The Spectacle will be held in Bückeburg Castle Park, a magnificent park featuring lakes and ancient trees.
Bückeburg Castle Park, 31675 Bückeburg – this is a spacious green space, perfect for a large-scale spectacle event with hundreds of visitors.
Opening hours: Saturday 11am–midnight, Sunday 11am–7pm. Saturday is a long event – ideal for those who like to stay out late into the night.
Admission: Please check the website for prices – as there are several categories (adults, children, costumed visitors), it is advisable to check in advance.
The Spektakulum is a brand – many visitors are already familiar with its quality and expect a major event featuring combat, music, crafts and spectacle. MPS Bückeburg Part 2 will deliver on this.
Bückeburg is a historic town with a castle and parks. The castle park is a gem – green, idyllic, with lakes and bridges. The town itself has hotels, restaurants and museums. A weekend here combines the Middle Ages with cultural history and nature.
Lower Saxony is green and rich in culture. Bückeburg is centrally located and easily accessible from Bremen, Hamburg or other cities.
This is a treat for fans of spectacular events and major medieval festivals.
