Chainmail shirt or Hauberk made of riveted flat rings (round rivets), Ø 8 mm

This chainmail shirt or Hauberk was made of flat rings, which were closed by means of round rivets (with round rivet heads). The braiding is 4 in 1.

Available in 3 different sizes!

In the Middle Ages this chainmail shirt was called "Hauberk" because of its long sleeves and knee length.
The sleeves are tapered, they became tighter by 1 ring every 5 cm (2 inches).

In the Middle Ages, the chainmail shirt was extended by frontal or lateral slits for better legroom. This even made it possible to ride comfortably on horses.

Our Hauberk is generally not slit, so that it can be adjusted individually.
