This chain mesh or chain piece is perfect for repairing, extending or making a chain mail.

This braid was made of riveted and unriveted flat rings. Riveted rings and punched rings are alternately connected with each other in the braiding type 4 in 1.
This type of weave is less labour-intensive, as only every second ring is riveted.
