These cotton calf wraps with woven herringbone pattern are made of one piece. The edges are sewn with a flatlock seam to avoid pressure points. They are closed with a cotton band. One pair is delivered.

The calf wraps (also known as leg wraps or puttees) were an integral part of Germanic clothing. They were wrapped over the pants from the foot to below the knee. They not only warmed, but also protected the legs from injury.
