14th-century hourglass gauntlets. Thanks to their wide cuffs, our hourglass gauntlets offer plenty of room for movement and good flexibility for your wrist.

Inspired by late medieval hourglass gauntlets. These include those worn by the famous Black Prince, which can be seen in his portrait in Canterbury Cathedral. They are meticulously handcrafted from sturdy 16-gauge carbon steel and suitable for re-enactment combat. The plates of the articulated finger joints are skilfully riveted onto leather panels, which enhances their attractive appearance. The hourglass gloves are fastened with sturdy leather straps and solid brass buckles. For greater comfort and grip, they are supplied with suede gloves. These come in a one-size-fits-all design that suits most people.

Compared to item VM010011, the finger joints are riveted multiple times, ensuring greater durability in use.
