Description

High medieval dress Alvina Blue/Natural White

The highlight of this dress are the trumpet-shaped sleeves and the decorative embroideries. The trumpet sleeves in contrasting colours give the impression that an underdress with trumpet sleeves was combined with a red overdress. It was made of robust cotton fabric. The cut of this gown is inspired by 12th century bilauts, illustrated e.g. in the Hortus Deliciarum, an encyclopaedic work from the late 12th century, or in the 1150 illustrated manuscript of the comedies of Terenz.

If you are between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the larger size. Comfort additions are included in the cut. Please keep in mind that cotton fabrics are not very elastic.
