Gladiators leg pads

Gladiators not only used arm guards, so called manicae, but also protected their legs with appropriate padding during the fight. This gladiator leg pad was made according to contemporary illustrations. The upper material is made of cotton canvas. This is followed by a soft padding of polyester and an inner lining of cotton. The leg pads are closed by means of eight leather straps. Thus, they are equally individually adjustable.
